Mount McIntyre

Andrew | 29 January, 2008 18:52 | (210)

I've always had a thing for the smaller ski areas... they seem a little more laid-back, I guess, and I'm not so good that I need a great big hill to have fun.

Until Saturday last, I'd never been to McIntyre, though it must be the tiniest ski slope in NH, with lift ticket and snack bar prices to match! I'd heard it's a great starter slope, and so it is. Evan caught a quick lesson with the nicest young boarder you could ever hope to meet (Ben Pacocha, if I recall correct) and then spent several hours honing his heel side slides on the bunny slope.

I also have a new photo editing toy (GIMP) to go with my new camera, and Evan doctored this photo just a bit:

Share and enjoy.

I love the addition of photos to further illustrate your adventures! Evan looks great on his snowboard.
