MFP snowshoe club

Andrew | 28 November, 2007 16:24 | (165)

The city's parks and rec department plans weekly snowshoe outings this winter in Mine Falls Park, assuming we get snow.

The city isn't offering much: it's bring your own snowshoes, there's no mention of instruction and the program runs on Fridays at 9 a.m. That will work well for some folks, but not those of us who work days. Anyhow, if you want to get out and trod around the park and perhaps meet some other local snowshoe-owners, head on down to the Whipple Street entrance at 9 a.m. on Friday Jan. 4.

Share and enjoy.
