Spring uncoils

Andrew | 12 March, 2007 09:04 | (112)

Here's hoping for a fast and full thaw. As of Saturday evening, the trails in Mine Falls Park were wretched ribbons of hard, lumpy ice, coated with a slick drool of melt.

I'll run on most anything, but I didn't enjoy that stuff much. I'm loving the extra daylight, though. I hit MFP for a little extra workout after doing 1.5 hours earlier in the day in Carlisle, Mass. The trails there weren't quite so bad, not having been trampled to ice in so many spots.

Share and enjoy.
