shout out

Andrew | 13 February, 2007 16:25 | (145)

Being new to blogging, I was very excited to see my first comment from a total stranger, a runner/blogger out in Oregon by the name of Kara.

I worried that my audience might dwindle to an elite group consisting of my mother, and three or four friends, but it appears at least a few runners are reading. Wahoo! Anyhow, in celebration I wanted to give Kara a shout out and urge any other readers to check her out.

The slideshow, especially, is fun... I'm astounded it would ever have occured to anyone to run without coffee... the only thing I do before coffee is get up to make the coffee.

As an aside, I still hate the word 'blog.' It sounds scatological. I'd rather think of myself as a writer, and "Off Track" as a collection of short essays, articles, reports, etc. So it's on the Web, big deal.

Share and enjoy.

Cheers!
