Massachusetts law enforcement unions endorsed John McCain in Boston this morning on his way to the town hall-style forum in Nashua.
The two MBTA unions represent only 250 members working for the mass transit system.
After the endorsement, McCain faces questions from reporters and is likely to be questioned about his statement Tuesday that a timetable fopr withdrawing troops from Iraq didn’t matter.
McCain said his focus was on the US casualty count that had been dropping in recent months.
Meanwhile, NH Democratic Congressman Paul Hodes hosted a conference call with MO Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill about middle class tax cuts.
The Telegraph reported Wednesday night a report from authors working with a a left-leaning think tank concluded the middle class would get three times the tax break with Barack Obama’s plan compared to John McCain’s.
The report also concluded Obama would raise taxes on more than a third of all US seniors.
