Obama picks NH field general

Filed under Uncategorized by kevin landrigan at 9:08 pm

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has tapped the coordinator of victories in Montana last November to be his field director in New Hampshire.

Rob Hill headed up the party campaign in that state that helped elect Jon Tester in one of the most critical and late-breaking, US Senate races.

Hill also served as national field director for the Alliance for Justice in 2005.

In 2004, Hill was a regional coordinator for Democrat John Kerry in the Iowa caucus and later ran the field operation for Oregon Democrats in the general election.

The Obama campaign not only has a New Hampshire headquarters at 60 Rogers St. in Manchester but it has a telephone number, 668-2008. Catchy, isn't it?

At week's end, Reid Cherlin will officially start as press secretary for Obama's New Hampshire campaing. He most recently served as communications director for the 2006 victorious campaign of Democratic Congressman Paul Hodes here.
