Potential, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama wasted no time trying to keep the good feeling going following his very successful visit to the state Sunday.
On Monday, he placed a well-directed call to one of those helping with the event and followed that up with other calls Tuesday.
Hey for a 45-year-old rookie, he’s not half bad.
The Washington Post’s excellent media critic, Howard Kurtz, nailed an analysis of the media’s treatment of Obama Mania. Here’s the link.

The Telegraph already reported Obama’s shadow throughout the visit with Matthew Rodriguez who worked on the presidential campaigns of Bill Bradley in 2000 and for Dick Gephardt in 2003-04.
The connection to Obama? Gephardt used Axelrod and Associates of Chicago and its principal, David Axelrod, is Obama’s political suami.
