2004 Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry returns this weekend to help out an old friend.

Kerry will attend a campaign rally at the home of Molly Kelly, a Democratic candidate for State Senate who served in a leadership role in Kerry’s 2004 New Hampshire primary campaign.

After the event, Kerry will do some voter canvassing with Kelly who is giving former Senate President Tom Eaton, R-Keene, all he can handle in Senate Dist. 10.

“Molly has been a great friend and the senator is thrilled to be coming back to Keene,’’ said Kerry spokeswoman Amy Brundage.
