If the Democratic National Committee is hoping to dilute New Hampshire’s influence in 2008, the candidates are slow to getting the word.

Over the next week few weeks, three them will be stumping here.

On the Democratic side, former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner has a heavy schedule Friday and Saturday that includes attending theMerrimack County pig roast in Bow and fund-raisers on behalf of legislative candidates on the Seacoast and in the NorthCountry.

Delaware Sen. Joe Biden will be the guest of honor Sept. 8 at theNashua Country Club which is a Nashua Democratic City Committee event.

In the GOP corner, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist returns to the state Sunday at noon as the headlinerfor the Nashua GOP City Committee’s annual "Steak Out" fund-raiser.
