Michelle Obama said it was former Democratic candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton put the issues of working women ``front and center'' in the 2008 presidential campaign.

``I know the folks here in New Hampshire know this better than anyone.  Because of Hillary Clinton's work, the issues of importance to women and working are front and center in this election,'' Mrs. Obama said in opening a forum on women's issues at the Radisson Hotel Armory in Manchester.

``This is our version of The View,'' Mrs. Obama quipped, referring to the popular, daytime talk show that Barack Obama appeared on last month.

Barack Obama and Clinton will appear in their first joint appearance at a rally in Unity Friday.
