If you haven’t already figured it out from my previous posts, I like my coffee; especially flavored iced coffee. So you can imagine my disappointment when I sat in the long, slow-moving line at the Starbucks’ drive-thru near Kohl’s plaza in Nashua the other day, just to purchase an over-priced, sickly sweet Non-fat Tall Iced Peppermint Mocha Twist latte. The first sip, and every sip thereafter, tasted like thick Listerine with cream. I could barely choke down half of the seasonal, syrupy concoction before dumping it down the sink. Normally I don’t mind Starbucks coffee, so I assume the barista went syrup crazy with the peppermint flavoring this time, but it wasn’t a good start to my day to say the least.
