The BST Gate City Classic summer league kicks off play at Rivier College next week with a 20-team league broken into two 10-team divisions, one for post graduate players and one for college players.

The 10-team college division includes teams from Plymouth State, Keene State, Rivier, Daniel Webster, Franklin Pierce, Colby Sawyer, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Northern Essex Community College and two independent teams.

Most of the top current college players from the area and throughout New England have played in the popular and competitive summer league, which is free for spectators. There are five games each on Monday and Wednesday nights from 5-9 p.m. 

The league playoffs begin July 18. A high school version of the league will kick off in June, with one division based at Daniel Webster College.
