Bishop Guertin senior Tracy Martin will get the amateur exemption at this summer’s USI Championship at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord.
The event is part of the Duramand FUTURES Tour, which consists of 17 tournaments played all over the nation. It prepares young golfers for the LPGA.
A field of 143 golfers will be in Concord July 24-26 to compete for a purse of $90,000, the highest ever for the event.
Last year’s amateur participant was Chelsea Demers of Wilton, who is currently a freshman golfer at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina.
Martin is a two-time NHIAA girls individual tournament winners, played on a Class L title team at Bishop Guertin and has won the Massachusetts junior championship. She’ll play at Richmond University in the fall.
