It’s official: WGAM will broadcast Red Sox games for 2009

The I’s have been dotted and the T’s crossed, Absolute Broadcasting and Entercom Communications have sealed a deal that keeps Red Sox broadcasts on WGAM.
Absolute Broadcasting released this statement on Monday morning:
“WGAM ‘The Game’ sports radio station AM-1250 in Manchester and AM-900 in Nashua are proud to announce that they have reached a deal to continue to provide radio coverage of Boston Red Sox games for the 2009 season and Post Season.
‘We appreciate the patience of our sponsors and listeners over the past 10 days,’ said Mike Winn, WGAM General Manager. ‘We are proud to, once again, offer the Red Sox broadcasts to Southern New Hampshire.’ “
