Here come the brides at the Mariposa Museum in Peterborough
Filed under Uncategorized by Vanessa at 1:04 pm
It’s wedding season and the Mariposa Museum is no exception.
On Sunday, June 14, brides will hit the museum runway to model dresses from the museum’s collection and others on loan for the museum’s spring fundraiser.
This is a great opportunity to see some real vintage and could serve as a way to brainstorm ideas for your own event.
The show will even be complete with a reception and wedding cake.
The cost is $20. The event starts at 3 p.m. and the museum is at 26 Main St., Peterborough, in the Baptist Church building.
Reservations can be made by phone at 924-4555 or e-mail at admin@mariposamuseum.org.
The Mariposa Museum is designed for school groups and families with interactive exhibits, a teachers’ resource library, workshop space for a folk artist in residence, crafts classes and a main gallery with performance space.
