Over the past month I’ve been developing a list of wants for the warmer weather.

With all the snow on the ground it was a little difficult justifying these purchases, but now that spring is officially here (even though it’s not quite warm yet) I’m going to turn my wish list into my have list.

First on the list is the safari inspired jumpsuit at Old Navy for $29.50.

I don’t know why I like it, since so many other people have said it’s the one piece in the collection that isn’t so hot, but I can see dressing it up or down with heels or flats. And it takes the guesswork out of getting dressed. There’s no searching through the closet for the perfect shirt/short combo, it’s already there in one piece.

My second item on the list is a pair of green flats or sneakers, like these from Nicole for $69.95.

I also saw a pair in a Payless flyer that were more sneaker, less dress, but I haven’t been able to find them since.

Third is a bright dress that can be worn to weddings or for a cocktail party. I love this yellow one in Marshall’s spring collection for $49.99.

And to offset all these bright colors, I already made good on buying one wish list item.

It was Maybelline Dream Mousse bronzer in sun glow. It’s super light for warmer days and unlike powder bronzer, won’t get streaky if you’re sweating. You can purchase it at most drugstores.
