I was in Wal-Mart this week picking up prescriptions and decided to take a stroll through the shoe isle.

Now, you're not going to find top quality, but every once in a while you can find a really great deal - mostly on summer sandals - including the $1 pair. No that's not a typo. I really have found shoes for a dollar at Wal-Mart.

And I'm not the only one.

After sharing my find with friends at least one of them has stumbled upon the same luck.

As I said, the quality isn't always the best, but for $1, even if you only get a week's worth of wear, you're still ahead of the game. (For the record, mine have lasted 2 seasons.)

So happy hunting and make sure to leave some shoes for me.
