I would love to be nominated for “What Not to Wear.” A trip to New York City and a $5,000 shopping spree is a dream come true.

The people who appear on the show rarely like to shop, and it always seems like such a waste of good money. Unfortunately, unless I fell into a serious slump, I highly doubt I would ever receive a nomination.

While I don’t have lots of dough, I know how to spend it.

I search the magazines and am always on a lookout for a good deal. And I have had a few friends who have asked for my shopping expertise when looking for a specific item or a good deal. And I refuse to travel far to find what I want.

Why does this matter? Because I love to share the bargains I find, and I believe Nashua and the surrounding areas have lots to offer for shopping. Who needs to travel to Boston? Especially when you are searching for that perfect pair of shoes to go with the new dress you bought and you’re tight on time.

So I plan to share my shopping experiences with you, from clothing, to makeup, to home accessories and beyond, and I hope you’ll share yours with me.
