Shake your rump like a rumpshaker (and other moves you should do when trying on swimsuits)

I finally buckled down and went bathing suit shopping.
I wanted one of those sexy one pieces with the cutouts on the sides and down the front but knew they are even less forgiving than a bikini.
I ended up buying this one at Target for $29.99 after trying on almost the entire selection.
I discovered that the side cutouts can be somewhat slimming because the middlepiece gives the illusion of a thinner midsection.
When I returned home to tell my roommate about my find, I was explaining the process in the dressing room and she said it sounded like I was working out. The truth is trying on bathing suits should be like a mini workout.
I didn’t do the rumpshaker move, but the Wrex n Effex song lyrics were too good not to use. Here are the other moves I did and you should do as well when trying on a swimsuit. After all, it’s much less embarrassing to have "the girls" or a butt cheek come sliding out in the dressing room, then it is at the beach or pool.
Start out with some stretching. Bend over and rock from side to side. This move is important because you will frequently be bending over to pick things up or out of the cooler. Make sure to check both front and back angles in the mirror.
Next, stretch your arms above your head. If your suit is a bikini, make sure the top doesn’t ride up when you do this. If it’s a onepiece make sure the straps stay put and that it’s not sliding up in the rear.
Now that you’re warmed up, the real workout begins. Jump up and down, twist and practice your best "Baywatch" run. You may not be planning to do any of these things waterside, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. (You never know when an emergency, such as someone needing help, may happen.)
Lastly, plop yourself down on the floor. I know, yuck, there’s no telling how dirty the floor in that changing room stall is, but the move is still neccessary. Sit indian style to make sure the fabric between your legs stays put. If there’s room, I also recommend lying on your stomach propped up by your arms. I sit like this a lot on the beach and sometimes you end up baring more of your chest area than you are comfortable with.
Finally, your dressing room workout is complete, but don’t forget the most important part: If you’re not completely sure don’t buy it because you won’t end up wearing it.
And if you want to shake your rump like a rumpshaker, go ahead. It can’t hurt to try.
