The Standells, who fans of certain vintage will recognize as the band who did "Dirty Water," will perform what has since been adopted as the Red Sox victory anthem at Fenway Park before Game 1 of the ALDS on Wednesday evening.

Also, NESN analyst Jerry Remy, who played second base for both the California Angels and the Red Sox, will throw out the first pitch.

Still suffering from the back problems that caused him to miss a start last month, Tim Wakefield is not on the Red Sox roster for the American League Division Series that starts Wednesday night against the Angels. He could be back for the AL Championship Series if the Red Sox advance.
