As expected, Tim Wakefield will take on Paul Byrd in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series next Tuesday night at Cleveland's Jacobs Field.

Wakefield, 17-12 this season, did not face the Indians. Byrd, 15-8, was 1-0 against the Red Sox, allowing nine hits and two runs over six innings.

Red Sox manager Terry Francona said Thursday that the series rotation - Josh Beckett tonight, followed by Curt Schilling, Daisuke Matsuzaka and Wakefield - would remain intact regardless of how the series unfolds.
